Warehouse cubing system approved for freight charge assessment

SCALE Components says its CubiScan 100 warehouse cubing system has been trade approved for assessing freight charges.

According to the company, the cubing and weighing device is faster and more reliable than taking manual measurements.

The tool applies the appropriate dimensional-based shipping charge for each piece of freight. The distributor claims this can help eliminate surprise freight charges for sending overweight and oversize items.

The information from the system is transferred to the data processing system without requiring data re-entry.

The device has an integrated digital display and control panel, with software providing numerical dimensions and weight for a 3D graphical representation of the parcel being measured.

Scale Components is the exclusive Australian distributor of the CubiScan product range from Quantronix. It was recently purchased by the Salter Australian Holdings Group.
