The Intermec CN3 mobile computer is designed to meet the needs of mobile workers performing mission-critical tasks in transportation, logistics and field service.
Its the world’s first rugged Windows Mobile 6.1 device, and can be managed by Microsoft’s System Centre Mobile Device Manager 2008.
With Microsoft System Centre Mobile Device Manager 2008, companies using any Windows Mobile 6.1 devices such as the CN3 can maintain secure control and access over their sensitive corporate data.
Besides full data encryption capabilities, this also includes the System Centre Mobile Device Manager’s “always on” connection.
This feature allows IT professionals to execute remote device wipe in the event of theft or loss of the device, reducing the chances of corporate data falling into the wrong hands.
