Dematic has released it latest series of high performance storage and retrieval machines (SRMs), the RapidStore Mini-Load.
The RapidStore ML10 can handle totes, cartons and cases in facilities ranging in height from 4m to 20m.
Offered in three standard heights (10m, 14m and 20m), this machine is said to efficiently handle a host of container types in a multi-deep and flexible-width environment.
Operating at travel speeds of 6.0m/s, the RapidStore ML10 accelerates at 4.0m/s² and has lift speeds of 3.0 m/s and lift acceleration of 3.0m/s².
It can deliver up to 142 double cycles/hour based on an 8m crane operating in a 40m aisle.
The RapidStore ML10 can be used as a storage buffer feeding mixed case order fulfilment, pick/put/pack operations in retail, apparel and general merchandise, and as an intermediate storage buffer sequencing Goods-to-Person split-case picking.
