An Australian manufacturer of motor homes has extended its decade-long partnership with Toyota Material Handling Australia (TMHA).
Victorian-based company Jayco, which has held a relationship with TMHA since 1999, recently renewed its partnership with TMHA with the purchase of three new BT reach truck forklifts.
The vehicles will be used to handle more than 300 pallets of stock daily at the company’s distribution centre in Dandenong South in Melbourne.
Jayco warehouse manager Owen Donohue said Toyota's reach-trucks were chosen for their reliability.
"Equipment downtime is not an option for us,” he said. “The BTs start first time, run all day in all weather conditions and require very little maintenance to keep them running smoothly.
“Ease of operation, functionality and reliability were the standout factors that Jayco were looking for in making the decision, and the BTs tick all the boxes.”
